World Class Polo Productions was established by Paul and Jo Kirkpatrick of Gisborne, New Zealand.
Exposing this great game to everyone in New Zealand and world-wide has long been one of Paul Kirkpatrick’s goals. Polo is in Paul Kirkpatrick’s DNA, the Kirkpatrick family from Gisborne have been Savile Cup winners (NZ Polo Club Championship Trophy), represented New Zealand and become longstanding administrators and commentators of the game.
Paul expresses his passion for polo behind the microphone. Regarded as one of the New Zealand’s premiere commentators (he won the coveted Sholto Matthews Commentators Cup at the 2002 Savile Cup), he gives this great game a voice that keeps spectators totally consumed and on the edge of their seat right to the final bell.
Paul played polo competitively over four seasons prior to and after university and still loves to ‘fill-in’ when required. He is head commentator at the Poverty Bay Club in Gisborne and actively involved on the committee.
